Shuffle up and Deal! We are back at the Royce Casino ballroom for Day 3 of the Main Event. Action is currently underway with the first deal felted a minute ago. The final 36 players are all in the money which means the battle today is about securing one of those coveted Final Table berths. Only 9 players will be fortunate.
One player with a very strong chance at claiming a spot is Rajesh Goyal. After Goyal’ssolid performance in Day 2, he is back today suited up with a stack three times over the average. Goyal will have his work cut out though with players such as Tae Hyung Kim,Martin Gonzales, and Eugene Co at his table. He enters with 608,000.
Another player to keep a watchful eye on is Korea’s Choi Jae Young. Young topped Day 1C, entered Day 2 running second overall, and is at the felt today with the second largest stack again. Young is at the felt with a towering 562,000.
